We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to fill the role of Travel Agency Manager. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a travel agency setting, with a strong understanding of Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership:
    • Manage and lead a team of travel agents, providing guidance, support, and training as necessary.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment to enhance productivity and customer service.
  2. Operational Excellence:
    • Oversee day-to-day operations of the travel agency, ensuring efficiency and adherence to industry standards.
    • Implement and optimize processes to streamline workflow and enhance customer satisfaction.
  3. Customer Service:
    • Ensure high-quality customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong client relationships.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and travel regulations to provide accurate and informed assistance to clients.
  4. Sales and Business Development:
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve revenue targets.
    • Identify business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and establish partnerships to expand the agency’s client base.
  5. GDS Expertise:
    • Utilize expertise in GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) to efficiently book flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel-related services.
    • Train and support team members in effective GDS utilization for optimal service delivery.
  6. Financial Management:
    • Monitor and manage the agency’s financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue forecasting.
    • Implement strategies to maximize profitability and reduce operational costs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a travel agency.
  • Proficiency in one or more GDS platforms (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of travel industry trends and regulations.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and business growth.
